Detailed description is Our vision is to use horses as a tool to reach out to the community, and take the opportunity to make a positive influence and difference in others lives. Our program will involve 90 minute private lessons, where a horse will be paired with one leader and one child or adult. The lessons are flexible, allowing that time to best serve the unique needs of the individual. Instead of being lost in a group, each person is nurtured by a leader who shares in his or her individual tears and victories. All of this is free of charge. Although our primary focus is to serve disadvantaged children and adults, we open the time and space for any person who wishes to come. It is hoped, that through hands-on experience, all who come to The Freedom Ranch, will learn the values of faith, life, family, and trust. They in turn, teach us true resilience.
