Detailed description is A half marathon from Inlet, NY to Van Aukens Inne just south of Old Forge, NY. For those seeking a less grueling event, we also have a 5K run/walk. . Registration starting at 9:00 am, the event kicking off at 10:00 am, Sunday June 29th, 2014, participants will embark on either a 14 mile walk from Inlet to Old Forge or on a 5k walk/run through Old Forge. Once their walk is complete, the festivities begin. At Van Aukens Inne, there will be a hotdog and hamburger social, as new friendships are made reminiscing on the feat participants just accomplished, the Freedom March of the Adirondacks.
