elevation.

Cliff Ridge features two swimming pools In Season.
One is heated to extend access later into the colder months, but probably not year round.
There are also playground, tennis courts, a trail around the the private lake, and kayaks & canoes.
Paddles and PFD's are found in the bench on the dock.
There is a limit of 2 trout per day on the lake.
.
.
The Fox's Frolic is located in a quiet cul-de-sac property on a double, 2 acre lot, right on the Mountain Bridge Wilderness boundary line.
Outdoors, there is a large, cleared yard and nice native landscaping with laurels and rhododendron, and many varieties of large trees.
There is ample, relatively level, parking for you and your guests affording at least 4 side by side parking spaces accessed via a gently sloped, paved driveway.
So there's likely never a need for shuffling cars that are parked -in by other guests.
It's a breeze to pack in and pack out upon arrival and departure.
You can back right up to one of the doors, load up, and drive off.
Vacations should always be this easy! .
.

The Living Room has a "sleeper sofa".
The living room's open floor plan offers a 25' cathedral ceiling.

Crowning the living area, there is a floor-to-ceiling river stone rock fireplace, wood burning, of course! Off the hallway from the living room, there is a guest half bath decorated with beadboard wainscoating and a beautiful crystal light fixture.
Also along the hallway, a laundry room affords both a washer and a dryer, as well as range of useful items, such as flashlights, emergency items, laundry detergent, tools, paper goods, lightbulbs, etc in case anything may be needed during your stay.
.
.
The Master Bedroom on the Main Level offers a Queen-sized Bed along with ample built-in custom drawers, roomy closet, small flatscreen TV, antique folding desk/drawer, and other antique, not "rustic", furnishings, and the Master Bathroom.

The upstairs bath is a shared "Jack & Jill" styled bathroom.
The upstairs loft offers a twin sized day-bed with built-in reading lamps.
The linen closet on the loft stores board games, extra towels, sheets, throws, and blankets.
.
.
.
The Technology: .

.
The Mountain Bridge National Wilderness nearly entirely surrounds the Cliff Ridge Community and encompasses the Caesar's Head State Park, Raven's Cliff Falls, and Jones Gap State Park.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is at top of the hill.

.
.
In Brevard, you luck up and catch a certain comedian who lives in the area playing his banjo in one of the local taverns.
(Hint: "Phoenix".) There are a ton of golf courses within 30 minutes of the community.
Very nearby and just 10 minutes from the front gate, there is a nice, laid-back Par3 course, Sherwood Forest.
Etowah Valley Golf Course offers 27 holes of golf.
.
.
At the foot of the range on US276, Table Rock State Park affords a long list of recreational opportunities such as a large mountain lake with a nice, sandy beach for swimming with a view of the large granite cliffs of Table Rock Mountain! And yes, there are well-managed trails all the way to the top for the daring souls among you.
While Down the Mountain exploring areas near the foot of US276 in SC, be sure to visit "Aunt Sue's Cafe", a local landmark and a favorite for tourists and motorcyclists.
There is a motorcycle gift shop next door, as well as an outdoor stage that has live music on the weekends.
Many locals are well-known bluegrass/americana musicians, so you never know who you might see up there, just jamming with their neighbors! .
.
On your way in and out of the community, keep your eyes peeled for road bicyclists.
Going right past the gate into Cliff Ridge, you may even spot a Tour de France legend who often takes his training rides out of Greenville SC.
Road and Mountain cycling opportunities are epic even right out of the driveway! The roads in the region are some of the best motorcycle routes you can find anywhere in the Southeast, one of the few remaining areas in the Blue Ridge Mountains where traffic is never an issue.
