Detailed description is To foster mutual interest and enthusiasm amongst the students, faculty, and community of the University of Georgia in regard to the environment.
The Environmental Health Science Club at the University of Georgia is focused on tackling a number of environmental issues within the surrounding Athens-Clarke County community.
One that we have a particular interest in, is reducing plastic waste.
We promote recycling and hope to foster an interest in students about sustainability and being more environmentally friendly.
All majors are welcomed, especially those with an interest in the environment.
