Detailed description is CRC offers services to individuals who are trying to restore their lives after suffering from a variety of challenges including Drug and Alcohol Addiction. Services include substance and alcohol twelve step meetings, as well as Al-Anon and Nar-Anon meetings, peer-led support groups, trauma support groups, gender specific groups, parenting classes, mental health education and support groups, social skills workshops, access to vocational training and, in time, GED courses. . . Activities will, again in time, include movie nights and other recreational and leisure activities, dinners, coffee hours, book clubs, walking/running clubs, exercise classes, yoga, and tobacco cessation. . . Referrals to our Free Health Clinic (including HIV/AIDS testing and health screenings), referrals to substance and mental health treatment, and other resource linkages will be provided. . . Other services and activities can be added as requested by the Recovery Community Center’s Advisory, which will include a majority of members in recovery. Relapse prevention will also be a component of our Center.
