We know that dogs are our family members, children to most of us, and deserve the very best in care when we are away! The Baker Hotel was established to give you peace of mind when you are traveling, so that you can enjoy being away from your dog without worrying about their happiness or well-being.
Your dog will stay inside our home with us.
We can't replace you at the Baker Hotel, but we sure will try! We will do everything you do at home for your dogs (minus sleeping in the bed with us and sometimes even that happens), plus give them ample opportunities for play and outdoor time that you may not be able to do when you are working.

Our standard rate is $35 per night.
This can vary so ask us if you feel a different rate is necessary.
For multiple dogs from the same family, text for a custom quote.
Our overnight policy is per 24 hours.
If you drop off at 10am, you will need to pick up around 10am the next day.
If you will be later than 24 hours, you will need to pay a daycare rate of $3 per hour.

We are reservation only.
We may ask you to pay a deposit via paypal to hold your reservation.
If you cancel last minute or are a no show, you will lose your deposit.
Unless it is a situation out of your control, your reservation privileges will be eliminated for future stays.
We only take very few dogs at one time to make the experience more personal for everyone, so we need clients that are dependable, since a spot has been held specifically for your dog.

We do offer doggie daycare by reservation.
It is $20 per day from 8am-5pm.
This includes twice daily exercise and lots of additional playtime.

During Holidays, there will be an extra $5 charge per night per dog.

You will need to bring: Food, Meds, Dog Bed, Crate/Kennel, any favorite toys.

We only accept VERY housebroken dogs, since this is our home and we have to live here! We understand accidents occur but we take the dogs outside to relieve themselves 5-10 times per day depending on their level of need, so we do not expect them to use the potty in our home.

Dogs that are preferred at the Baker Hotel are very housebroken and also crate trained.
We do crate them around 10pm for bedtime and also for short errands..

If you have a destructive dog that chews up everything and anything, we ask you to carefully consider booking with us, as we will ask you to reimburse us for any damages to our home caused by your dog.
We provide extreme supervision, but we do have to take time outs for showers, potty breaks, dinner, etc.
Exercise helps dogs with these issues.
We advise you to read 'Cesar's Way' to understand the importance of exercise to ease anxiety.

Please be courteous and make sure your dog is clean and freshly bathed when you bring them.
You will also need to make sure they are up to date on shots and especially flea medications.
If we find fleas on your dog, we will call you and request that you find immediate pick up solutions for your dog.

This could put a huge damper on your vacation or time away, so please make sure your dog gets monthly flea prevention on a regimented schedule.
Set a reminder in your phone! We do not want fleas inside our home and are sure you do not either.

We are very flexible with drop off and pick up times, which is a huge plus when using us compared to other boarding facilities; however, we do expect you to be respectful of our time.
There will be a 10 minute grace period on pickups and drop offs.
For example, if you are 30 minutes late to bring your dog for our boarding appt, you may lose your drop off option.
If you are late picking your dog up, you may have to wait an extra day to get them and/or pay prorated late fees.
We have children and other responsibilities that require us to be other places at specific times and expect you to realize that we can not always be at home waiting for you.
