Detailed description is TAFT is an independent provider that assists families in Dade and Broward counties with Parenting Skills, Anger-Management, DV, and Life Coaching.
TAFT is an independent psycho-educational intervention provider that assists families in Dade and Broward counties, who have involvement with the Child Welfare or Family court systems, with meaningful and regular face-to-face family time to allow parents the opportunity to gain confidence and practice what they have been learning from other community partners and allow children to positively interact with family members that they care about.
TAFT also provides parents with recognizing threats, recognizing child(ren)'s needs, and understanding protective roles through parenting classes.
TAFT serves to enhance these diminished capacities to help families achieve the necessary skills to ensure their children's safety and well-being..

Parents are taught how to understand child behavior and misbehavior, practice positive listening, give encouragement (rather than praise), explore alternative parenting behaviors and express ideas, and develop their child's responsibilities, apply natural and logical consequences, convene family meetings, and develop their child's confidence.
