Haltagari, Yarkhur, Daltir, Chondo, Burdas etc. The Houshey Valley in the east, Karis Valley in the west, Shegir Valley in the north and Daghoni/Balgar are located in south site.. . Thalay Valley exists 40 km. away on the northwest to the district headquarters Ghanche (Gilgit Baltistan), and 110 km from Skardu city and situated slightly above than (2647 m) from sea level and falls in the single cropping zone. The main source of income is agricultural. Population household 1246, total population 12460. Education ratio male 20% & female only 5%. Thalay Valley has full of natural resources like pasture, water, wildlife and mineral etc. Thalay valley is distributed in two parts, upper Thalay and lower Thalay.
