Detailed description is Join us on the campus of Texas Tech University for Financial Planning Academy! This camp will be hosted June 11-16, 2017.
The Texas Tech Financial Planning Academy, sponsored by Charles Schwab Foundation, is a one-of-a-kind summer program that offers rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors education and training in the core areas of personal financial management.
Participants will gain firsthand experience working as part of a team during a week of events and competitions designed to increase financial knowledge and know-how.
These events will include working on a financial planning case study, developing a financial plan, and participating in other competitions for scholarships and prizes.
In addition to promoting financial literacy among America's youth, the camp will provide insight into the Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) industry and show students the value of financial planning as a profession..
