Five minutes walk from the Tekapo village where you can pick up supplies or go to one of the many restaurants/cafes and bars. Only 1 ½ hrs from Mt Cook, great for that day trip, or if you want to have a break between traveling between Queenstown and Christchurch, we are about half way.. .
