Detailed description is hours by appointment I believe there are healing properties in working with the beauty of nature. Beauty lifts the spirit and clears the mind. I'm addicted! . . In 2004 I began growing potted herbs on the dairy farm with 4 young children as my helpers. . A sun pit green house was built, the adventure of growing flowers and becoming a floral designer began. . . Several years later a divorce forced me to move on. I refused to give up on my dream! I found a lovely piece of property 2.5 acres and turned the garage into my floral studio. . . Some of you may remember my brick and mortar shop in Almont, Blooms. I loved it but the timing was off. After 9 months I moved back to the farm, built a studio next to the sun pit greenhouse. That was the true beginning of my grower/ designer education! . . Now at my new home, looking back spring of 2012 took several truck and trail loads to make possible what I do today. Dear friends and family encouraged me with their help and support to continue on. This is not a solo act. I have tremendous gratitude for each and everyone of them. I love you all. Thank you for your kindness with this stubborn heart.. . Before moving here, I worked with MSUE to further my horticulture education, received a florist certificate, gave up sewing for brides and began doing flowers for weddings and events.. . I am Blessed to have an amazing support team. My four children, My darling , Mr. Blue Eyes, dear friends and family. Special thanks go out to Randi, Mandy. Rachel and Jennifer.. . My customers have followed me from the small beginnings to this new location, where, yes it is still small but has a mighty team! . . I use organic methods of growing my flowers and herbs. my small flock of chickens help out with keeping bugs down, giving fresh eggs along with wonderful compost for strong amazing blooms.. . I am an old fashion farm-girl who enjoys sharing through classes. workshops and talks on flower arranging, gardening.old fashion embroidery and baking on occasion.. . My studio is open by appointment as my business and lifestyle demands a lot of physical work outside of the studio to make it all happen.. . You inspire me!
