Detailed description is We are a family owned and opporated farm in Spokane, County Washington. TD Walsh Farms is a family owned and operated business. We pride ourselves in being one of the first farms in the area to run a “no-till-drill.” It is just our little part to keep the local agricultural industry sustainable. Our main farming ventures are in hay and grain crops.. . The Farm History:. . The family started farming on Half Moon Prairie in 1950 when Tom Walsh bought 320 acres on Half Moon Road. Tom and his wife, Lorene, raised crops and milked cows. In 1978, their son Tim joined the family business full time. After Tom retired in 1991, Tim and his wife Debbie took over the land his dad was farming, as well as another neighbor’s land, increasing the farm land to 2,800acres. After selling the cows in 1997 the focus of the farm became crops. In 2010, Tim and Debbie’s son Dusty and his wife Erin joined the farm full time. Currently the Walsh men are farming 3,200 acres and looking for the right ground to continue to grow.
