Taylor County Emergency Squad.INC is a Non-profit 501c3 Organization (Donations Always accepted P.O.Box 161-Grafton,WV 26354). Taylor Co. EMS was founded by all volunteers desiring to help others in times of crisis and emergency situations. Taylor Co. EMS started in 1961 at Latrobe Street in Grafton. Taylor Co. EMS used a hearse as the first ambulance serving the community. Taylor Co. EMS receives an Emergency service levy that was started by Amy Summers and Beth Twigg. Taylor Co. EMS now has full time and part time staff, that work around the clock to ensure the highest standard of care is being offered to the community. We currently operate three ambulances that are state certified. They respond to: 911 emergency calls, hospital to hospital transports, non-emergency medical transports, festivals, sporting events, etc.
