With the generous support from Korean churches in West Florida, local Korean schools in the Tampa area have been merged to establish the Tampa United Korean School (TUKS) on March 5th, 1995 in order to make a better place for Korean language and culture education.
TUKS is a registered non-profit organization in Florida.

TUKS is committed to offering young Korean-American students a pleasant environment to learn Korean language as well as Korean culture and history by teaching the various level of Korean language(Hangul) courses and having events on Korean traditional holidays: Solnal-Korean New Year Day, Chuseok-Korean Thanksgiving Day, Korean Alphabet(Hangul) Day.
Other special events are offered throughout the semester such as 'Word contest', 'Storytelling contest', 'Singing contest', 'Drawing contest'..
