CHP İzmir İl Başkanı (2011-2012). 1960 yılında IZMIR de Doğdu .Ülkesine,Bayrağına aşık üretim sevdalısı biri.1960 yılında İzmir ili, Karaburun ilçesi, Mordoğan köyünde doğdum. Ekonomik yaşam mücadelesinde, kente göç etme zorunluluğu duyan ailemin İzmir’e gelmesiyle, İlkokulu Güzelyalı Mehmet Akif Ersoy İlkokulun’da, Orta Okulu Karataş Eczacıbaşı Ortaokulu’nda okudum. Öğrenimime devam ederken meslek edinmek için bir çok işyerinde çalıştım, çocukluğum bir taraftan çalışmak bir taraftan okumaya çalışmakla geçti.Aileme katkıda bulunmak amacıyla bir panjur atölyesinde çalışmaya başladım. 1978 yılında küçük bir atölye kurarak gündüz çalışıp gece Akşam Ticaret Lisesi’nde ögrenimime devam ettim.Daha sonraları gerek mesleki gerekse eğitim seminerlerine katıldım.Hep hedeflerim oldu,otuz yıla yakın ticari yaşamımda dürüst, ahlaklı, başı dik bir esnaf olarak çalışıp,ülkeme devletime üretim sevdalısı bir insan olarak faydalı olmaya çalıştım.Yüzlerce takdir,plaket ve ödüller aldım.. . SİYASAL YAŞAMIM. . 1983 yılında SODEP’e kaydolarak kuruluş çalışmalarında görev aldım.. . 1984 – 1986 yılında SHP Konak İlçe Esnaf Komisyon Başkalığı yaptım.. . 1988 – 1990 döneminde Konak Halkevleri Başkanlığı ve Halkevleri İl Koordinasyonu Kurulu Başkanlığı yaptım.Daha sonra SODEP-HALKÇI PARTİ Birleşmesinden oluşan SHP-CHP Birleşmesi dahil birçok kez ilçe,il,kurultay delegelikleri yaptım.. . Üç dönem İzmir İl Başkanlığı Danışma Kurulu üyeliği ve İl Seçim propagandisti olarak seçimlerde görev aldım.1999 Milletvekili seçimlerinde ön seçimde aday olup 43 aday arasından 7.olup partimi onurla temsil ettim.. . Bu süreçte muhtelif sivil toplum örgütlerinde yöneticilik görevlerinde bulundum.. . Halkevleri Konak ilçe başkanlığı,HALKEVLERİ İL Başkanlığı,(USİAD) Ulusal Sanayici İŞ Adamları derneği İZMİR Temsılciliği ve Fahrettin Altay Spor Kulübünün Başkanlığını uzunca bir süre yaptım.. 2011-2012 yıllarında CHP İZMİR İL Başkanlığı görevinde bulundum.. Halen CHP Kurultay delegesi ve İZMİR Ticaret odası meclis üyesiyim.. 2015 Genel seçimlerinde, CHP'den önseçime girerek, 74 Aday arkadaşımızın arasından 2. çıktım.. CHP 1. Bölge 4.Sıradan Milletvekili Adayı oldum.. 25. Dönem Parlemontada, Milletvekili seçildim.
