Detailed description is Group and individual swim lessons available at DW Sports Barrow. From babies to adults. For beginners intermediate and advance levels. During my swimming lessons (a long time ago) I was asked to join Ulverston Otters, this was where my love for swimming began. I was Diddy league captain and represented Cumbria on many occasions. I competed for my school individually and as part of a relay team numerous times, qualifying to represent the Division 1 region at various English School Nationals around the UK. . Swimming became more social rather than competitive while studying for my degree at Leeds Metropolitan University however I still represented Leeds Met every year at the British University Nationals.. . I started my swimming teaching journey in 2007, this quickly lead to me completing my level 2 in Coaching swimming and Level 2 in Teaching Aquatics the following year. I taught at many swim schools and leisure facilities in and around Leeds while studying at university.. . In 2013 I started my dream job of coaching and teaching swimming in Australia. I spent 2 years coaching Boyne Tannum Swim Club in Queensland Australia and in my free time I helped out with my neighbors swim school teaching babies from 6 weeks old up to early teens. This was a fantastic opportunity and gave me an insight into how their swim programs operate.. . On returning to the UK in 2015 I decided to set up my own swim school, Swim Smart Barrow. Lessons are for all ages from babies up to adults and all abilities are welcome..
