We are in the middle of Playacar Fase 1, which is a very safe, gated, beach front neighborhood at the south end of Playa del Carmen.
Playacar is divided into two phases.
We live in Phase 1, which is very small and private in comparison to Phase 2.
It is all single family houses except for one other condominium and one hotel, both of which are at the entrance to our neighborhood.
