Fall asleep to the sound of frogs and crickets, and wake up to the sound of birds. Enjoy the garden, horse pasture and duck pond, or commune with our resident blue heron quietly fishing nearby. Our property is also regularly visited by deer, eagles, wild rabbits and the occasional bobcat.. . Meet our polite and friendly Canadian horses, our national horse (a rare breed that was imported to the French Colony by Louis XIV in 1684 and has survived as a distinct breed), or watch us ride as we train for our next dressage show.. . The dressage arena doubles as a dog agility ring, so bring your favorite friend for some frisbee throwing or agility training. Because we love our visiting wildlife and horses, we do ask you to keep your dog on a leash while outside of the arena or cottage.. .
