Detailed description is Formerly The Orphanage on WLJS Summit Cut Productions originated as a weekly radio show called The Orphanage, featured on JSU's college station WLJS-FM. It was created as a running joke about how much of the Indie music played wouldn't be played anywhere else and therefore we were the "Orphanage of today's music." Over the course of a few years we expanded into radio dramas and we created the universe of "Pleasant Garden," which served as a platform to lampoon the best and the worst of southern culture. . The Orphanage ran on terrestrial radio from 2009 to 2012, with a reunion show in 2013. Recently, Orphanage co-founder Jesse Hall spun off to create the "Tales of THATTOWN" podcast. Summit Cut and The Pleasant Garden Experience will be working along side Hall as we create what we are referring to as the "Orphanage Cinematic Universe." With us both having separate but often interlocking storylines, this will allow us to work around our otherwise busy schedules.. . Summit Cut also provides both videos and sometimes written narrative to our fan base. If there is a need for a pen, microphone or camera, then Summit Cut will likely do it.
