S.T.A.N.D. is a group of residents, business owners and interested parties working together with City of Stockton and San Joaquin County to make our neighborhoods a safe and desirable place to live. S.T.A.N.D. has continued to work hard since July 1991 with residents to proactively deal with community issues and concerns. Not only does S.T.A.N.D. offer affordable housing programs for residents, but they have also implemented a Youth Program for the youth of Stockton. The youth program offers several events throughout the year for families to come together and enjoy their community as a whole. S.T.A.N.D. also offers a youth basketball program to encourage positive activities for our youth. . . S.T.A.N.D. meets once a month with city officials to hear community concerns and answer any questions you may have. Regular meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month at our office: 1209 East Eighth Street @ 5:30 PM.
