Detailed description is St. Luke’s Episcopal Church is part of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis.. . Services at 9:00am every Sunday. Our members come from several different towns and also nearby counties. We meet:. Sundays for Holy Eucharist at 8:30 am. Coffee hour follows.. Wednesday Bible study 1:00 pm.. We are a middle age parish with the exception of one family who has two young children. We love serving the Lord and worshipping together. We are a family. We enjoy visiting with each other on Sunday morning and you are missed when you are not in attendance. We are prayerful. We are educated and seek knowledge. We have a group of individuals who meet Wednesday afternoons to learn and study the Bible. . God has led us to minister to the needy by serving meals at the Salvation Army, supporting needy families and senior citizens at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and by helping animals through our Barktoberfest festival. God has blessed us with a handful of talented musicians who perform for us on a regular basis. We even offer our parish hall to the Shelby Community Band to practice every Tuesday evening. God has also given us the gift of appreciation. . Our fund raisers help us with our outreach ministries. However, they also serve as our social outings. Many people look forward to our Fish Fries, Beef-It-Up Campaign, and Barktoberfest! We have some outstanding cooks in or parish! We also have some parishioners who are very talented gardeners and share their produce with those of us at St. Luke's as well as the Salvation Army. We have a Master Gardener who keeps our trees and shrubs looking good.. This is just a snippet of who we are at St. Luke's. Please join us..
