ENGLISH: St. Joseph is both a parish and a birthplace. Almost one hundred years ago, a fiery, middle-aged Vincentian priest, Fr. Thomas A. Judge founded a seminary here for the training of missionaries to go out from these rural pine woods to bring the Good News of Jesus to the world. This religious congregation, the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, together with laity, vowed religious, single, married, priests, young and old, men and women from different countries, temperaments and histories, would form what he called the "Missionary Cenacle Family". Their shared vision was simple but profound: Every Catholic called to be a missionary in their daily lives, making God's Reign of joy and peace a reality for all. St. Joseph's parish, together with our mission church, Our Lady of Guadalupe in Clio, believes in this vision. May we all become, in the words of Fr. Judge, "a power for good!". .
