St. Elizabeth Manor was established by the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church. The Sisters of Charity devote themselves to caring for the sick, poor, and aging, assisting with education, and much more. The congregation’s leaders, Monsignor John Zwijsen and Mother Marie Alma Lafond, founded the Sisters of Charity as a response to the needs of God’s people. St. Elizabeth Manor has been touching lives in the Rock County and surrounding areas since April 2009. We are a not-for-profit, community based residential facility (CBRF) serving people of all faiths. In March of 2013 the Alma Care Dementia Unit was added to the care dimension of the Manor. All the residents at St. Elizabeth Manor are under the care of trained staff members and the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady, Mother of the Church. St. Elizabeth Manor is set in the rural landscape of Footville, Wisconsin just minutes away from Janesville, Beloit, and other surrounding communities. Personal tours are available at your convenience. Our mission is to provide for all who touch our lives here a nurturing environment that assists them in living healthy, meaningful lives according to their dignity as sons and daughters of the Father.
