At the Northern End of the Canyon sits Fisherman's Paradise, a hatchery run by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania.. At the Southern End of the Canyon can be found the town of Rock, Pennsylvania.. . Benner Township is currently pursuing an initiative that will designate the Canyon as a Natural Preserve. Associated with this initiative are plans to establish public access "gateways" to the Canyon that will link to a network of hiking trails both along the Creek and up to the precipices at the top of the limestone cliffs.. . Benner Township Supervisors ( http://benner.centreconnect.org/benner.htm ) met on August 15, 2011 to discuss the zoning initiative of Spring Creek Canyon.. .
