Detailed description is Sparks Day Camp, the only ACA accredited day camp in Antrim County, is nestled amongst 640 acres of Northern Michigan forest land and the crystal clear waters of Torch Lake.
Campers aged 5-10 enjoy arts and crafts, group games, nature and singing.
Kids can challenge themselves on the bouldering wall and experience the thrill of a zip line from the height of 50 feet.
They will also enjoy the excitement of climbing our climbing tower.
sparks Day Camp is fun, educational, and full of exciting possibilities! Each week ends with a Fabulous Friday where lunch is provided and the whole family is invited to come out and enjoy the wonders of camp.

Sparks day camp staff will reinforce the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, responsibility, and respect throughout all camp activities.
Our staff is chosen for their maturity, experience and knowledge of young campers.
Staff is first aid, CPR and lifeguard certified.
They work diligently to insure the safety and happiness of all campers.
Our Certified Health Officer will be able to attend to all camper health issues..

AN AFFORDABLE EXPERIENCE.
Sparks YMCA Hayo-Went-Ha Camp is more than just a day care, it's DAY CAMP!! There are 8 one-week sessions, Monday-Friday.
Camp starts at 9am and finishes at 4:30pm.
campers are able to register for multiple weeks..
We have lowered the cost of a 1-week session to $160.00 per campers, one of the lowest prices in Michigan for a YMCA Day Camp experience! A $20.00 non-refundable deposit for each session is due with registration form.
A $10.00 discount per week will be given to any camper registering for 4 or more weeks.
A registration packet will be sent to each camper upon receipt of a camp deposit.
All forms and weekly balances are due ten days prior to the start of each camp session..

TRANSPORTATION.
We will be offering pick-ups and drop-offs from our traditional locations at the Public Access at the Dockside, Richardi Park in Bellaire, and Thurston Park in Central lake.
To assist in maximizing our bus transportation, all campers that require or desire to take our Sparks Day Camp bus must be signed up and paid in advance.
The cost of the bus is $15.00 for the week and will not be pro-rated or refunded for when a camper does not ride the bus every day..

8:30 Pick Up at Bellaire.
8:45 Pick Up at Central Lake.
9:00 Day Camp begins with opening ceremonies.
9:20 Change into Swimsuits.
9:30 Walk to Polar Bear.
9:45 Polar Bear Swim.
10:30 Travel back to Camp/Change Clothes/Morning Snack.
10:45 Morning Activity.
Noon Lunch and Rest Time.
1:15 Change Clothes and apply Sunscreen.
1:25 HWH Activity Time.
2:20 Splash Time and Point Time.
3:45 Return to Camp.
4:00 Afternoon Snack.
4:15 Awards Board Ceremony.
4:30 Parent Pick Up .
