Sparkroot is a teaching farm and expanding market garden, a community gathering space, teaching and cross-cultural learning place.
We tend our Village conservation burial ground and offer funeral services to our community.
We milk goats, keep bees, pigeons and chickens, and cultivate connection between each other and this land that claims us.
We are atop a hill surrounded by a grove of ancient grandmother oaks, nestled into 150 acres of woods with access to square miles of woodland trails.
Our cooperative permaculturally-designed farm field is two acres grown with the love and care of many hands and hearts from around the world.
Aside from care of livestock and farm work, we have a deep need for strong & willing hands with skills in carpentry and fencing..
We unschool, and welcome kind, conscientious, like-minded others to join us in 24 hours of work per week.
