Detailed description is The Southington Community Cultural Arts Center strives, through the fine arts, to create a unique environment in which people of all ages, abilities, and experience can feel free to imagine, create, exhibit and welcome the arts into their lives.
Southington Community Cultural Arts is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3) organization.
The Arts Center is being created to provide unique and meaningful arts programming for all ages and to give local artists a venue to exhibit their work.
We plan to offer a dynamic and constantly evolving program including but not limited to classes in all forms of visual art, photography, film, music both instrumental and voice, ceramics and jewelry making.
Most activities will be on a registration basis with payment for 6-8 week sessions.
The Center will be staffed by working artists, and all structured activities will be led by professional artist-teachers.
