Detailed description is SPMVFD is an all volunteer Fire Department serving the South Pittsburg Mountain Community and surrounding areas, in South Pittsburg, Tennessee. The SPMVFD would like to take the opportunity to let our community know that we offer more than just emergency services. Some services do require a small fee.. The list includes (but is not limited to):. . Filling water tanks (Water Fee). Filling Swimming Pools (Water Fee). Washing out culverts or tiles.. Upon request we will happily bring an engine to Birthday Parties!. Use of the Firehall for family events (Weddings, Birthday Parties, etc. There may be a small fee).. In the event of a power outage, we can bring a generator to your home to keep freezers/refrigerators cold.. Installation of Smoke Detectors.. Education of Fire Prevention to include Fire Escape Planning, use of Fire Extinguishers, etc.. . This list is not exhaustive, and will be updated!
