South Carolina Campus Compact, proudly located at and hosted by Winthrop University, is a coalition of 18 South Carolina colleges and universities working to promote and develop the civic purposes of higher education. . . We improve the ability of higher education institutions to partner with their communities to impact community needs and provide real world learning experiences for college students. . . Members of SCCC collaborate to share and seek best practices and leverage resources to mobilize students, faculty, staff and community partners toward this goal. . . SCCC member campuses represent the full spectrum of higher education institutions, public and private, two-year, four-year, and research universities, and partner with both urban and rural communities across the state.
