Detailed description is Vesterålens hovedscene for jazz, viser og andre musikksjangre. Vi arrangerer konserter på Sortland og i Vesterålen. Sortland Jazz- og viseklubb er en ideell musikkorganisasjon. Vi legger vekt på å tilby publikum en bred meny av musikk og arrangerer konserter som spenner seg fra rock, via akustiske jazzensembler, og helt til den klassiske singer/ songwriteren. Hovedmålet er å kunne spre god musikk til Vesterålens innbyggere! . . I 2007 ble Sortland Jazz- og Viseklubb kåra til Årets Jazzklubb av Norsk Jazzforum, og dette er en ære som vi idag tar vare på så godt vi kan. Vi arrangerer en rekke konserter året rundt. Siste helga i september hvert år arranger vi Sortland Jazzfestival.. . Medlemsskap i klubben koster kr 300,- i året og gir rabatt på klubbens konserter. Medlemsskapet gjelder også hos andre klubber som er medlem i Norsk Jazzforum. Ta kontakt med oss for medlemsskap!. .
