Detailed description is A Sorella's story Many of you wonder, where did we get the name Sorella's? Well there is a meaning behind it all and I decided to write it here for you.Sorella's means sister's in Italian and if you have also looked at our sign you notice it says "Memoria Di Sorella's" which means in memory of my sister.
My sister and I have worked for a local pizza shop together for many years, she actually got me my job with her.
She always said about opening a shop together and calling it "Sister's Pizza" well, unfortunately my sister became ill with brain and lung cancer.
A few months before she passed I told her I was looking into opening my own shop.
By the time things got moving my sister had passed.
I tried to figure out a name for my shop and wanted to dedicate it to her because if it wasn't for her I would have never gotten to this point.
I remembered her wanting to open a shop called "Sister's" and so I looked up the name in Italian and it came up Sorella's and I added Memoria Di (in memory of).
Some may remember her delivering your pizza, she was so loved and her customers nicknamed her "Pizza Jean"..
