That's when I'll be there.
My personal journey with cancer officially began on January 1, 2006 when I was diagnosed with stage 4 Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, Diffuse Large B Cell.
I spoke with a friend about his cancer experience telling him that I didn’t understand why this was happening to me; I exercised, ate organic, used chemical free cleaning products, and had a happy life with low stress.
He said, his own response to this question was “Why not me!” .

When I reflected on this, I thought yes, what makes me exempt when so many others face hardship.
From this point on I tried to come up with a reason that I was affected by cancer.
