Detailed description is Shepherd University is an NCAA Division II football program and member of the newly founded Mountain East Conference. Over the last decade, the Gridiron Club has been able to provide direct financial assistance to the Shepherd Football program, increasing awareness of and advocating for Shepherd Football and promoting exciting events that benefit the team. Since its inception in 2003, the Gridiron Club has contributed more than $115,000 toward the cost of education. . . The Ram Gridiron Club is pleased to announce a new group of volunteers that have accepted the challenge to lead the Ram Gridiron Club. Coach Lynn Carr '69, Mr. Randy Friend '12, and Mr. Campbell Martens '12 will offer their assistance, leadership, and passion for Shepherd Football as we work to building a bright, successful future for the Rams.
