It is an attractively designed and purpose built comprehensive school. The design of the school is particularly interesting, comprising a curved two storey building with an indoor “street” separating the classes and specialist areas from the administration area.. . The school was built in four phases. The school opened with just Phase 1, Phase 2 was opened in September 2001, Phase 3 opened in September 2004 and Phase 4 was completed in April 2016.. . The school is a maths and computing specialist school with a second specialism of science. We have invested heavily in additional ICT provision and are well-resourced with a school-wide network with an optical fibre backbone, UTP Cat 5 cabling and a wireless network.
