Hi, my name is Tom and I own Shear Delight Sharpening.
I am a mobile shear sharpener in the Tampa Bay area.
All the sharpening is done in your salon for your convenience.
I use an EZ Vex machine which was specifically designed for titanium coated convex shears, although I can sharpen bevel shears also.
There are very few of these machines in the world.
This innovated machine enables me to sharpen with taking minimal amount of material off your shears so they will last longer and not touch the coating.
I do hand hone the ride line of the shears.
My rate is $20/pair, and I do not charge extra for taking the nicks out! I carry an assortment of bumpers and washers with me, so if you need one and I have it , that is part of the price also.
