As a successful military, business and nonprofit leader, Shawn knows what it takes to get things done.. . As an Air Force Veteran, Shawn proudly served his country during Operation Provide Comfort and was chosen as the lowest ranking instructor for Airman Leadership School in Air Force history. Shawn’s wife, Jean, is also an Air Force veteran. As a father of five children—one who graduated from Roswell High and three who attend Roswell Public Schools, Shawn understands the everyday needs and concerns of our families. Shawn’s older daughter, Britany, is married to a former active duty Army member and now an Army Air National Guard member while his older son, Christopher, served in the Army’s 82nd Airborne and is currently serving in Afghanistan with a private security firm. Christopher and his wife, Erin, live in Roswell along with their son Cooper. As a widely respected Roswell Youth Baseball Head Coach, Shawn is dedicated to leaving our children a safe and prosperous future in Roswell.. . Shawn currently serves as a Regional Director for Elam Ministries, a Christian non-profit organization serving the underground Iranian church. He lives on Lake Charles Drive in Roswell with his wife, Jean and their three school-aged children – Joshua, Aaron and Abigail. Additionally, Shawn has four grandchildren from his older two children—Kayden, Mya, Nicholas, and Cooper. The Wrights are active members of Roswell Assembly of God where Shawn serves on the Church Board.
