Detailed description is 39th Annual 10k, 5k, and 1 mile fun run. . Come join us at O'Briens Brandon on March 12, 2017! The Shamrock Classic 10k/5k/1 Mile Fun Run course begins right outside of the race's main sponsor, O'Brien's Irish Pub, on Kings and Lumsden Road. The course is a flat, fast, 1.5 miles out and back distance heading South towards Bloomingdale on Kings. . . On course water station at mile 1.5 and mile 3 and porta potty available. The 5k distance is one out and back. The 10k distance is two out and back of the same route.. . Runners and walkers have the option of participating in the following:. 5k. 1 mile fun run. . Walkers/strollers welcome!. . St. Patty's day costumes encouraged!. . A post race Bagels, Beer, and Bananas bash as well as Awards Ceremony are held at O'Briens. . . All registrants receive an event shirt. Awards given for 5k, 10k, and Challenge Overall winners, top-3 Age Group winners, and a finisher's ribbon for the 1 mile fun run.. . . All proceeds from this race are donated to Ainsley's Angels of Florida.
