We are proud of the personal touch that we give to our clients through breeding, riding lessons, horse training and horse sales. SMF is conveniently located near St. Peter, MN and Mankato, MN.. . Seven Mile Farm started a breeding program built on the famous Frosty Feature bloodlines and crossed with proven barrel horse bloodlines. You will find Frosty Feature-bred horses as top-notch national competitors in the barrel racing and cow horse industries as well as on the racetrack. From there, we expanded into other TOP barrel horse bloodlines. Check out our SMF Horses page!. . Mark & Teri Spence have lived on Seven Mile Farm since 1990. There, they raised three daughters, Greta, Kirstin and Summer. Greta and Kirstin are grown and on their own. Summer graduated in 2011 from high school. She is very involved with the horses and competes as well.. . Teri Spence, riding instructor, is originally from St. Peter, MN. She started riding and competing as a young child. Teri attended the University of Wisconsin - River Falls. In 1983, Teri moved to Germany. It is in Munich, Germany where she met Mark who is originally from Columbus, Ohio. They married and, eventually, moved back to the United States in 1990.. . Currently, Teri is the Executive Secretary for the Western Saddle Clubs Association, Inc. and Mark is a past Board member and WSCA President. They are very involved in their saddle clubs and competition at open shows in the region.. . Seven Mile Farm has been expanding their breeding business. Though our farm is small, we have horses with some of the highest qualiity pedigrees in the market today. Our goal in breeding is to breed for excellence.
