Detailed description is .1956 yılında doğduğu Bursa’da, ilk, orta ve lise öğrenimini tamamladıktan sonra, 1974-1975 yılları arasında, İsviçre’de bir yıl süreyle İngilizce ve Almanca dil eğitimi aldı. 1980 yılında, Uludağ Üniversitesi İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi, İşletme Bölümünden mezun oldu. Üniversite yılları sırasında başladığı iş yaşamına,1979-1980 yıllarında Norveç’te bir tekstil firmasında, muhasebe, üretim ve satış alanlarında 3 ay süreyle staj yaparak devam etti.. 1980-1983 yılları arasında Kâmil Koç Otobüsleri A.Ş. bünyesinde halkla ilişkiler, turizm, operatörlük, rehberlik, otobüs kontrolörlüğü görevlerini üstlendi. 1984-1990 yılları arasında Halkla İlişkiler Müdürlüğü görevini yaparken, satın alma ve host yönetimi görevlerinin sorumluluğunu da aldı. 1986-1987 yılları arasında muhasebe rotasyonu yaptı.. 1990-1993 yılları arasında Genel Müdür Yardımcılığı, 1993-1995 yılları arasında Genel Müdür Vekilliği görevlerinin ardından 1995 yılında Genel Müdürlüğe atandı, bu görevini 2002 yılına kadar sürdürdü. 2002-2004 arası Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı, 2004-2008 yılları arasında İcra Kurulu Başkanı olarak görev yaptı.. 1993 yılında başlayan Kamil Koç Otobüsleri A.Ş. Yönetim Kurulu Üyeliği görevinin, 2002-2003 tarihleri arasında Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı döneminde şirketin kurumsallaşma çalışmalarını başlatmış, 2008 yılından itibaren aktif görevlerden ayrılmıştır.. BOY-KOOP Yönetim Kurulu Başkanlığı döneminde Bursa Şehirlerarası Otobüs Terminalinin yapımı ve işletiminde aktif görev almıştır. GESİAD (Kurucu – Onur üyesi), BUSİAD, SİVİLAY Kurucu Üyesi, BURSAV Yönetim Kurulu Üyesi, Meme Sağlığı Derneği Başkanı, TOBB-Türkiye Odalar ve Borsalar Birliği (Kadın Girişimciler Üst Kurul Üyesi), Bursa İş Kadınları Derneği (Buikad) üyesi, Türkiye’de İtalyan Ticaret Odası üyesidir. 2009 Yerel Seçimlerinde; Cumhuriyet Halk Partisi’nden Bursa Büyükşehir Belediye Başkan Adayı olan Sena Kaleli, aynı zamanda AIESEC (Uluslararası Öğrenci Değişimi) Bursa Şubesi üyesidir. Bursa İçin Derneği yönetim kurulu başkanıdır.. Ekonomik Pusula, Güle Güle ve Yeni Dönem gazetelerinde köşe yazıları yayınlanmıştır.. CHP 15.Kurultay sonrası Parti Meclisi ve MYK görevine seçilmiştir.Sonrasında CHP Parti İçi Eğitim’den Sorumlu Genel Başkan Yardımcılığı da yapan Sena Kaleli, 12 Haziran 2011 seçimlerinde Bursa Milletvekili seçilmiştir. Sena Kaleli TBMM Çevre Komisyonu üyesi olup aynı zamanda, CHP bünyesinde bulunan İş Dünyası Dayanışma Birimi üyesidir.. Uludağ Üniversitesi, Tıp Fakültesi, Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji Anabilim Dalı Öğretim üyesi Prof. Dr. Tufan Kaleli ile evli ve bir kız çocuğu annesidir. İngilizce ve Almanca bilmektedir.
