Detailed description is .... rok 2002. První společné tóny začaly vznikat v roce 2002. Tehdy tříčlenná skupina Public Opinion, ve složení Jakub Hanus, Lukáš Klusáček a Jirka Kroutil, začala dávat dohromady první nápady.. . . Stejný rok vstupuje do Public Opinion důležitý člen – Ondřej Šára – a zásadně obohacuje repertoár. a celkový zvuk kapely. V tomto složení se všichni definitivně shodují na názvu Secret Life a kapela se pomalu začíná vkrádat do povědomí hudebních fandů, pražských klubů a hudebních serverů.. . ... rok 2003. Během jednoho roku se Secret Life dostává do soutěže Coca-Cola Popstar, probojovává se do semifinálových kol, vítězí v soutěži Rock Café Contest a je velmi úspěšná v soutěži mladých kapel – Future Line paláce Akropolis.. . ... rok 2004 až 2007. V těchto letech skupina zažívá chvíle úspěchů ve formě hojně navštěvovaných koncertů v předních pražských klubech (Rock Café, Palác Akropolis, ROXY), ale i pádů ve formě odchodů jednotlivých členů, či krádeže téměř kompletního vybavení kapely v hodnotě cca 100tis. Kč.. . V roce 2007 opouští Secret Life z důvodu pracovní mise kytarista Ondřej Šára a kapela hledá adekvátní náhradu. Tu sice nakrátko nalezla v podobě pohodového „Jazze“, avšak pár měsíců na to se Jakub Hanus rozhoduje kapelu z mnoha důvodů rozpustit.. . ... rok 2008. Polovina roku 2008, touha po znovuvzkříšení kapely, touha po skládání a hraní. Jádro kapely se sešlo (Jakub, Ondra a Lukáš) a pokouší se sestavit nově fungující sestavu. Přibírá dva nové členy, klávesistu Filipa Hrdličku (ex. Sweeper) a baskytaristu Aleše Koblížka (ex. Pankix). Volba se v obou případech 100% vyplácí a nové seskupení si rozumí nejen ve zkušebně a pódiích, ale i mimo ně.. . ... rok 2009. Společná hudební tvorba se nyní ubírá lehce novým směrem. V základu stále hrajeme kytarovou muziku, která je však okořeněna klávesovými plochami a jinými „vtípky“ Filipových kláves. Snažíme se o chytlavé melodie a refrény, ne přímo určené pro jednoúčelové rozcuchání vašich účesů, ale o určitou formu sdělení, které v sobě každá z písní schovává.. . Kapela Secret Life tedy hraje dále, dnes je to více jak sedm let existence, a chuť hrát rozhodně neztrácí.. . .
