Detailed description is Campers 6-14 yrs will learn about our vital coastal habitats by observing and collecting marine and freshwater life at Sea Stars Marine Camp in Northport! Sea Stars Marine Camp is a unique week-long summer experience for your child.
Our instructors use hands-on activities to teach various aquatic biology topics and foster your childs appreciation of Long Island's vital coastal habitats.
Programs include twice weekly trips to a near by beach where campers learn about the remarkable animals that live there and enjoy many beach activities such as swimming, seining and animal collecting.
At the center, campers will observe and handle live marine animals and freshwater pond-life while learning about marine science and environmental ecology.
During guided nature walks through the Preserve, campers will explore our coastal woodlands and freshwater pond.
Each day is packed with hands-on activities, outdoor games, exciting arts & crafts and fun facts about animals who call the ocean home.
We offer multiple age appropriate programs for your marine biologist.
