Hello, my name is Phyllis Scofield.
I am a registered nurse and I own and operate Scofield Nursing Assistant Training Center located at 1001 1st Ave E in Cambridge MN.
I teach a 96 hour course, certified by the Minnesota Department of Health.
I have lived and worked in this area since 1968.
I am excited to share my teaching experience with students who are interested in the NAR/HHA program.
This program is presented by the use of lecture, discussion, handouts and demonstrated skills.
After retiring from my other employment opportunities I developed the training center in August 2010 with the approval of Bonnie Wendt, Nursing Assistant Coordinator MN Department of Health.
I also had assistance and encouragement from my loving family members.

In my spare time I enjoy decorating in my home, playing the piano and singing, working in my garden with the flowers and spending time with my 14 grandchildren and now 3 great grandchildren and their families..
A total of over 450 students have been trained for the NAR/HHA program since I have opened and I have had 26 years of experience teaching this program.
I believe in providing hands-on opportunities for my students.
The environment is conducive to learning yet comfortable and relaxed.
