How and Why I started Scale Down Nutrition. . November 2010 I weighed 467 pounds and in very poor health. I was the Chief Estimator for a major construction company in Florida. I had a stroke because of being over weight and all of the junk that built up in my body. When the stroke hit me the construction industry decided that I was no more use to them and I was discarded and abandoned with no insurance or support. At that point I had given up and was relying on the one thing I had left to take care of my family which was a 1 million dollar life insurance policy. My wife on the other hand had other plans, she would not give up on me. She started pumping Herbalife products into me along with changing what we were eating. Within just a few months of getting in the right type of nutrition I went from sitting in my easy chair paralyzed and drooling on myself to walking and talking again. I discovered that our body is an amazing machine, if you give it good nutritional building blocks it can repair itself. Within 16 months I had lost over 240 pounds and had very few effects of the stroke affecting me.. As a result of going through that experience I wanted to start a business where I could help others not go through the same experience that I did. We want to help people get healthy through good nutrition. Give your body the right building blocks and your body will take care of itself. That is what we are all about!.
