A couple of years ago, when my three sons and I unexpectedly found ourselves in New York, we thought what’s an ice cream family to do with all this time on our hands? . . Answer: ICE CREAM CRAWL!. . Earl, Hayes, Quinn and I hit all the shops we could find, often ordering everything on the menu (growing boys really can put down a lot of ice cream!).. . We were inspired by the creativity and the fun we discovered in Brooklyn and Manhattan, and impressed by the craft and the quality of what we tasted. It wasn’t long before the idea for Sanders & Sons was born. . . the boys and I decided to bring that same spirit and passion to Southern California, with the added twist of delivering our pints and toppings directly to your door.. . we're going to be making our ice creams the old fashioned way: from scratch, using organic cream from the Strauss Family Creamery and and organic, free range eggs from family owned farms. . . We’re obsessed with making the best ice cream in California, so to ensure top quality and consistency, we'll actually be running our own micro-creamery in downtown Los Angeles and deliver this love and inspiration direct to your home.. . it's going to be fun! and we'll begin shipping this fall... stay tuned :). .
