The Lodge is located directly on the shore of Lake Erie in Port Clinton, OH. This property provides multiple rental options to allow our customers to have as much space as desired. The rental units consist of the Cottage, the Apartment, the King Room, and the Queen Room. A description of each rental is below. The Lodge is private, has full backyard access to Lake Erie, unobstructed views, and extremely competitive prices for the area. Our renters have axcess to a full coverage of wireless internet around the property. The owners, Bev and Jim Byrne, always make themselves available for the satisfaction of their customers. Their goal is to provide new friends with a home away from home. This page allows progressive renters to see recent photos of every rental space with each of their amenities and photos of the property. Renters can view the comments and photos shared from previous renters to learn more about their stays at Sand Road Lakefront Lodging. Check In- After 2:00 P.M.. Check Out- 11:00 A.M.. . The Rental Units:. . * Cottage: . . The Cottage sleeps eight. There are two baths & two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed & large air conditioner; the other has three twin beds & a ceiling fan. A bed that opens into two single beds is located in the living room, along with a ceiling fan. Another large air conditioner is located in the dining area.The Cottage includes a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave oven & gas range & refrigerator with ice maker. The dining area with table chairs and a breakfast bar overlooks the living room, an outside deck and the lake. The dining area overlooks, the living room & the lake. From here you step through a sliding-glass door to a wood deck with a fire pit and chars, then across the lawn to the lake.The living room has all the comforts of home, including cable TV, VCR/DVD, stereo, ceiling fan, and the trundle bed. Windows along three sides catch the cool lakeshore breezes. From the kitchen, you look over the dining area, deck, and living room to face the lake across an unobstructed 90' lawn. Cottage Group Rates Per Week:. $1350 - Up to 8 persons. . * Apartment:. . The private, modern, upper floor Apartment sleeps six. The bath has a large shower with a seat & glass shower doors. Facing the lake is a large sheltered porch with an outside steps down to the lawn. The Apartment includes a fully-equipped kitchen with microwave oven, electric range, and refrigerator with ice-maker. Also included is a dining area and small breakfast bar. The living room has all the comforts of home, including cable TV, VCR/DVD, air conditioning, a queen sofa bed, and a spectacular view of Lake Erie! Enjoy the lake view in the comfort of your apartment or from the sheltered porch, over the unobstructed lawn. . Sleeping facilities for six include: a bedroom with a king bed, a twin bed and ceiling fan, an alcove with another twin bed, dresser & lamp, and living room with a pull out queen bed. Although the Queen Room faces the front lawn, renters in the Queen Room are also welcome to use the lake, the yard, and the toy shed, as do all other renters.. There is a shed on the side of the property that contains inner tubes for the lake, toys for young children, footballs, basketballs, kickballs, volleyballs, tennis balls, wiffle balls and bats, a croquet set, badminton set, chairs, etc. The smooth driveway also has a basketball hoop and is spacious enough for children to ride bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. up and down the pavement. The backyard is also equipped with a net for volleyball and badminton. The edge of the back yard is lined by Lake Erie. There is a porch swing to sit and enjoy the breathtaking views a small set of steps leading down into the water.
