The SLVHC has been dedicated in its efforts to bring safe and affordable housing to our Valley residents through the Programs offered including Home Rehabilitation, which allows eligible persons to make the necessary renovations their home may need without facing up-front costs, and Down Payment Assistance in which qualified first-time homebuyers receive funding for their down payment and/or closing costs.
These low-interest loan programs are in high demand not only because interest rates may range from 1% to 5% and have affordable monthly payments, but also because of the aged housing stock in this widespread rural area.
