Detailed description is SAMUI FESTIVAL 2017 7-11 กันยายน 2560 ณ เกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี . จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี จัดงานสมุยเฟสติวัล ครั้งที่ 2 สุดยิ่งใหญ่ เพื่อเฉลิมฉลอง เกาะสมุย ครบรอบ 120 ปี ในงาน สนุกกับกิจกรรมแข่งขันกีฬา ช็อปปิ้งสินค้าโอท็อป ชิมอาหารพื้นเมือง พร้อมชมการแสดงต่างๆ ทั่วเกาะสมุย 7-10 กันยายน 2560 นี้ . . เป็นอีกหนึ่งเทศกาล ของจังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี ที่กระตุ้นนักท่องเที่ยวทั้งชาวไทย และต่างชาติ ให้ไปเยือนเกาะสมุย จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี และจังหวัดใกล้เคียง ได้อย่างคึกคัก สำหรับสมุยเฟสติวัล ซึ่งในปีนี้จะจัดขึ้นอย่างยิ่งใหญ่กว่าเดิม เพื่อร่วมเฉลิมฉลองครอบรอบสมุย 120 ปี โดยมูลนิธิมวลมหาประชาชน เพื่อการปฎิรูปประเทศไทย และมวลมหาประชาชน เพื่อหารายได้สมทบทุนจัดตั้งวิทยาลัยอาชีวศึกษา ภาวนาโพธิคุณ มีการจัดกิจกรรมหลายรูปแบบ เพื่อเป็นการเฉลิมฉลองทั่วพื้นที่เกาะสมุย รวมทั้งสร้างสีสันและเพิ่มความหลากหลายให้นักท่องเที่ยวที่มาเยี่ยมชม ได้สัมผัสประสบการณ์ใหม่ๆ โดยมีเวทีหลักที่ ตลาดหน้าทอน พรุเฉวง และบ่อผุด ซึ่งจะจัดการแสดงตลอดทั้ง 5 วัน 4 คืน ตั้งแต่วันที่ 7-11 กันยายน 2560 นี้ อธิเช่น การแสดงคอนเสิร์ต,การแสดงท้องถิ่น,การแข่งขัน สมุยเฟสติวัลมาราธอน, การแข่งขันจักรยานทางไกลรอบเกาะ, การจัดฟรีบุฟเฟต์ดินเนอร์ บนหาดเฉวง เพื่อสร้างสถิติบุฟเฟต์ที่ยาวที่สุดในโลก
