Preska `70 Mock Trial Team was started three years ago with eight students, one advisor and zero experience.
Today the team has 16 student participants, a dedicated faculty adviser, two coaches and other volunteers, and has earned battle scars from four years of intercollegiate competition.

The mock trial experience is invaluable to our students and the College.
The students build life and legal skills through meticulous yearlong ~ including summer ~ preparation and fierce competition.
They do this in a way that puts The College of Saint Rose on the national stage with over 150 other colleges and universities including Boston University, Tufts, Colby, Holy Cross and the Ivies.
By their own admission, this is one of the Saint Rose experiences that students will remember for the rest of their lives..

The Saint Rose national competition mock trial team is entering its fifth year.
Last year the team competed at the invitational and national tournament level, receiving both team and individual awards at invitationals, along with honorable mention at Yale University's regional competition.
