Detailed description is The Office of International Programs and Development (OIPD) serves the Saint Martin’s community by offering a variety of international programs which help foster an appreciation for cultural diversity. We play an important role in the University’s international community by providing services related to language, culture and academic exchange. Our office enhances and supports cross-cultural education and seeks distinction through our numerous programs designed to encourage an appreciation between international and domestic communities.. . We believe that international education here at Saint Martin’s University is about cultivating a sense of global citizenry. Every year we welcome students from many countries, host cultural activities that promote international understanding, and provide avenues in which cultural exchange is a daily event.. . For students who are interested in going overseas, we provide support for study abroad opportunities all around the world. We also coordinate with our faculty to teach overseas or lead international study tours.. .
