The Student Art Gallery Association gives our art majors at Harford Community College the opportunity to show their artwork in a public gallery setting on campus.
Students are responsible for organizing and installing their own exhibits.
The student gallery is located at the main entrance in Joppa Hall..

In our meetings we take advantage of our time together as artists and art lovers.
Meetings will typically consist of a guest speaker.
Someone interesting with input on a specific art related topic.
Each meeting aims to be enriching and informative.
We also discuss gallery and reception dates and times, upcoming events and trips, and general news on the art world.
Overall, our meetings are made to inform and prepare us to be the best artist we can be! .

There will also be open critiques held throughout the semester built to allow SAGA members to bring in any of their current work to be discussed.
We as a group will help each other resolve creative and technical issues to better the work and push us further as creators.

Once a semester SAGA provides an exclusive field trip to a major city to explore art, culture and galleries..

You will have the space by the front entrance of Joppa Hall to curate any type of artistic experience.
Whether you would like to display your own art work, or maybe curate a show that samples work of other artists you know.
You are the creative head of that space for an entire week, so go all out! We have a lot of dates still available for the semester, so please contact any officer if you would like to reserve a date for yourself in the gallery!.
